I see myself rushing around to find a place
A place from where I can see your face
Cuz even without the Sun’s rays
Your beautiful face just brightens up my day
I love the way you walk to see
You look for ways to sneak a peak
Let me tell you something you won’t believe
You indeed are so much similar to me.
How easily we go on committing sins throughout our lives,
As though we have prepared ourselves for the darkest flames of hell,
When the inevitable and undeniable truth is that,
Our skin can’t even resist the tender warmth from a pot on the stove.
Try as you might to hide amongst the crowd,
It’s almost like the sun hiding behind the clouds,
In no way do the clouds lessen the sun’s shine
Just as that I can find you in the crowd simply because you are mine.
“You can’t jump,” he half yelled.
“Give me one good reason I shouldn’t,” she cried as she spoke.
“Do you wish to die a murderer?” he said.
“What do you mean?” she asked.
“You won’t die till you have hit the ground, but the moment you lift your feet, you will have killed me.”
They might want to lock you up for killing me so many times with those glances, little do they know those shots of pain are the reason I’ve learned to smile.
She’s like the bird that flies away,
Even so, she never loses her way.
Regardless of how long she stays away,
Sooner or later, finds herself back in the same place.
I applaud your failed attempts to hide your feelings,
As if I can’t see the surge of excitement in your every movement.
